Cup Cover I crocheted this for a friend—and I’m recording the process as well. In the first picture, crochet a suitable cup base; just make it smooth and even. In the second picture, crochet a row of single crochet stitches. Adjust the number of stitches so that the total is a multiple of 4, with the size corresponding to the circumference of the cup’s body (it’s best to keep it slightly smaller). In the third picture, begin crocheting the cup body pattern. Crochet one stitch every four stitches. There’s a single stitch between each pair of double crochet stitches. Between the individual stitches, simply continue without adding any more stitches. In the fourth picture, crochet the basket edge. There’s a single stitch between each pair of triple crochet stitches.
