The original pattern was more of a vacation‑style look, whereas mine leans toward practicality. I didn’t follow the pattern exactly—instead, I used a textured stitch pattern for the body, choosing just one motif per section, and added a large diamond‑shaped pattern too. For the edges, I adapted the waistband knitting technique from my knitted pants, then sewed the edges together on the wrong side so they wouldn’t curl.
