previously stockpiled 500g of modal cotton yarn. The single strand kept breaking, and I couldn’t find a suitable multi-strand yarn right away, so I combined two strands together to knit. But when I reached the bottom hem of the sweater, I realized there wasn’t enough yarn left. So I quickly switched to making it into a half-sleeve instead. I’m quite pleased with the finished piece {}. I especially love the collar edge—I used a crochet hook to work it like this: skip two stitches, then in the next stitch, crochet five double crochets; skip another two stitches, then make one single crochet; repeat this pattern all around, working five double crochets in each skipped stitch.
