However, assembly and sewing do take a bit of time. I modified the skirt pattern compared to the original diagram: I added 4 extra cast-on stitches and included an additional row of single crochet. The original skirt length seemed too short, the back seam felt a bit tight, and the skirt didn't quite cover the back leg-seam area well.
