But having never tried knitting a sweater from top down before, I worried that I might not handle the Lacy Raglan stitch well, so I kept putting it off. Until one day, after leaving a comment on Ximi’s post and receiving her kind help, I finally mustered up the courage to start. [/p] [p=null, 2, left]## Yarn: Rosalinda Rainbow from Yue Man Xi Chuang Lou Jia [/p][p=null, 2, left]## Amount used: Approximately 1.3 jin (about 650 grams) [/p][p=null, 2, left]## Needles: Size 8 [/p][p=null, 2, left]## I knitted this in size M. Added 8 stitches under the armpits, decreased 5 times along the body, and increased 7 times. For the sleeve cap, picked up 16 stitches to mend the hole, then decreased 3 times every 5 rows and 8 times every 8 rows. Apart from the body being slightly longer than usual, everything else followed Doudou’s translated pattern.
